BETTY HINEMAN   Congratulations to Elizabeth (Betty) Hineman, on being the first RCAFA 416 Wing member to receive the 70 year RCAFA membership pin.  This award was presented by 416  Wing President Larry Paziuk on November 9th  on the occasion of the 2019 Wing Charter Night.. Betty was a proud RCAF WW11 Veteran, and an active RCAFA 416 Wing member, as well as being a member of 560 Branch Royal Canadian Legion. While Betty was in failing health at the time of her award, she was determined that she would be present  for the presentation. She arrived, proudly sporting her Air Force tartan and accompanied by family members.   After the presentation of the award, she spoke a few words of appreciation and gratitude for her being able to be present to accept this award in person.  Unfortunately Betty passed away peacefully on Nov 28th, with her loving family by her side.  Betty enjoyed a very active life and was able to live on her own until the end.  She was a wonderful lady and an Airwoman till the end.  She will be missed.
