THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
"Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy."
Our 15th RCAF Airwomen's reunion will take place in Winnipeg from Tuesday, May 25th to Thursday, May 27 in 2021. The venue will be held at the Airport Hilton Suites located at 1800 Wellington Avenue.
"Winnipeg is the capital of Manitoba – and the geographical centre of North America. It was incorporated as a city in 1873. The city sits at the junction of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers – a place referred to as The Forks."
If you are a member planning to come to the R15 please contact us about the reunion information page.
The registration form for Reunion 15 in Winnipeg is now online.
Registration fee is $250. The non-refundable portion, $50, is due by June 1, 2020. The balance, $200 is due by March 1, 2021. Please note, there will be no refunds after April 15, 2021 as the food menu will be finalized and we will be expected to pay for the set number of people at that point.

I would like to connect with any one I may have known at St Jean Quebec course 5960 Aylmer on Supply course about May, June 1960, or Trenton 1960 to 1963, or Rockcliffe 1963 to 1964. Pat Macdonald (Evans)
Hi, I have lost contact with an airwoman I met in Cold Lake, then again saw her in Baden Baden in the late 60s. Her name is Louise Tata. If anyone knows of her whereabouts I would greatly appreciate the info. Thanks, Darlene Clark
Hello all, I sure enjoy the monthly news letter. I have been trying to find Barbara nee Cooper. We went overseas together by ship in 1953. Barb was so sick on board. I would like very much to hear from her. Barb was my Matron of honour when I married in Zwiebrocken. Thanks, Janet Hayes (nee Tottman)
I was wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of Darlene Ogden, she was from Amherst Nova Scotia. We met in Greenwood NS 1958 we became good friends and she was my maid of honour at my wedding. Delores Lloyd

One of our members may be of interest to you. Veterans Affairs Canada says that, “Currently, about 20% of Veterans receive support from Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC).”
They would like to know why so many veterans are not accessing benefits that they may be entitled to, and to learn how to better reach these people. Therefore, they are doing an online consultation to find out.
The online consultation will run until the end of March. If you are a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) or a family member of a retired military member, you can share your thoughts on how Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) can stay in touch with you and support you in ways you need.
Visit www.veteranconsultation.ca to participate in the consultation.
For more information on other Veterans Affairs events, check out the link to this event page: http://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/events.
If you know of any noteworthy events or exhibits in your area you think might be of interest, please let us know by contacting us here.
As the members of the committee update the nominal roll, we are discovering that some of our members have been with the angels for several years. They are included in our monthly newsletters as we find them.
