MARCH 2023

"I'll try anything once, twice if I like it, three times to make sure." - Mae West

We have a venue! First we would like to thank the Debbie Reid and the PEI committee for their hard work to find a hotel quickly. They are working tirelessly to organize a great reunion at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel on 75 Kent Street. The dates are Monday the 27th, Tuesday the 28th, and Wednesday the 29th of May, 2024

You can register for the 16th Reunion of the RCAF Airwomen here

Now that we have a place to go we are looking for a new logo design for reunion 16. If you have any ideas please contact us here.

For the ladies attending the reunion for the first time we would like to pass on the following information:

For those attending the entire event, the $250 includes: two nights dinner with entertainment and one brunch on the last day. These events are for the members and their aides, or guests (non-members) who may have served with them.

Those not registered for R16 can attend the excursion on Tuesday, and the brunch on Wednesday, cost to be determined.

The church service on the last day is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Please contact us if you have any questions, more information will be forthcoming as plans come together.

You don't have to be a member of the RCAF Airwomen's Reunion to attend a luncheon in your local area. If you are interested in meeting up with women you may have served with or whom served at the same time as you, get in touch with the facilitators to see what it's all about.

Some luncheons are monthly, year round. Some have their own annual schedules.

If you pay to have your taxes done, you might like to check in with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). This is a link to find a program in your area: Canada Revenue. This is not just for seniors, so if you have family member who may qualify for help, let them know about the service. There is a link on the page to check eligibility.

As the members of the committee update the nominal roll, we are discovering that some of our members have been with the angels for several years. We included in our monthly newsletters as we find them.
