RCAF AIRWOMEN'S 5TH REUNION
ST. MARY'S UNIVERSITY, HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA
JUNE 2001
The 5th reunion and the 50th anniversary of Peacetime Airwomen 1951 - 2001 was held at St. Mary's University in Halifax, N.S. in June 2001. There were 360 airwomen in attendance. Co-chairs were Dot (Alward) Kern, Marie (Gariepy) Jones, Mary (Best) Redden and Pat (Benney) Rowan. To celebrate the 50th year, the Historical Committee was given the enormous task of compiling and producing a book entitled "50 Years RCAF Airwomen - 1951 - 2001." Copies were given to all attendees. This book was available for purchase at the 6th Reunion from the Nova Scotia table.
